Oi naengguk ( ice cucumber soup )









*** Oi naengguk ( o – i nang – guk ) ***
 ~ ice cucumber soup ~

- Ingredients –

A
* 1/2  cup  shred cucumber (or fresh pickle) to about 2 inches long
* 1/2  tsp  minced garlic
* 1   Tbsp  diced   green onion
* 1   Tbsp  vertically thin sliced onion
* 2   Tbsp  shred  carrot
* 1   Tbsp  sliced red or green hot pepper

B
* 1  cup   cold water (Water placed in the refrigerator)
* 1/4 - 1/2  tsp   salt
* 1/5   tsp  red hot pepper powder (optional)
* 2 - 2 ½  tsp vinegar
* 1  tsp  baked sesame seeds

C
* 3 - 4  ice cubes


- Cooking Direction –

1. In a mideum bowl, add ingredient B and stir well until the salt dissolved.
2. Add ingredient A.
3. Add ice cubes and stir well.
